In the light of St. Mary of Egypt's life, the meaning of genuinely living has to take on an eternal perspective. But this perspective will never be discovered without the stark power of true repentance and an honest confession from knowing ourselves.

What is the highest place in your life? You were made to know God and to be in communion with Him. But how do we do that since He is so much higher than us? We climb!

On this Forgiveness Sunday, you are confronted with the revealing truth that what you treat as treasure reveals your heart. Forgive me the sinner.
