Are you letting your past steal your joy?

In this week’s Orthodox Christian homily for the Sunday of the Samaritan Woman, we reflect on Christ’s powerful encounter at the well — and the healing that happens when we bring our brokenness before Him.

Like the Samaritan woman, many of us carry wounds, regrets, shame, and burdens from our past. The enemy wants us trapped in despair and hopelessness. But Christ offers something greater:

Living Water.
Healing.
Renewal.
Resurrection joy.

Your past does not have to define your future.

Through Jesus Christ, your heart can be cleansed, your sins forgiven, and your life filled with the light and joy of the Resurrection.

This Sunday, let’s ask ourselves:
Are we willing to let go of the burdens holding us back?

Are you living in the afterglow of the Resurrection?
