Dear Father Powell,
I was introduced to your presentation when you were last here at St. Paul in Irvine via a video link that was sent to me by Father Boyd our Assistant Priest. I am a parishioner at St. Sophia in Los Angeles. Welcome and I look forward to the retreat hosted by my church with you as the keynote. Our Lord has given you a mission and the ability to communicate Orthodoxy in such a precious and magnificent manner. Your style of delivery literally, at least for me, is helping to separate the forest from the trees. I still need a few branches to be cleared, hopefully the upcoming retreat will help further prune my faith according to the will of the Father and not my own personal self desire. God’s hand is upon you. May you continue for many, many more years to enlighten us with the Word. As always blessings and continued growth in Jesus’ name.
